This Carburetor heater is suitable for installation on Rotax 912 and 912 ULS engines installed in Non-Certified aircrafts.
The system is always ON and does not degrade the performance of the engine by heating the intake air charge.
This style of carburetor heater is intended to add a small amount of heat to the carburetor body at its downstream, in order to keep the temperature of the body above freezing point. The intention is that the addition of heat to the carburetor body will prevent ice from forming in the carburetor throat.
